New mama ramblings

We sit and stare at Emilia and wonder how we created something so beautiful. I'm so pleased we did!

When I look at her I can't see any of my features but I know she's mine. I love that she looks just like her papa and Rob loves it when people tell him that.

I used to take half an hour to get ready in the morning, now I take 10 minutes. I haven't straightened my hair since she was born.

I can't stop kissing her cheeks.

I wonder what language her first word will be in.

The longest I've been away from her is 15 minutes when I went to the supermarket. I knew she was safe and happy with her Oma and Opa but I was dying to get back to her.

I love the cute fuzzy hair on her forehead.

She has a  little red birth mark (stork mark) on her face. I think it's adorable and gives her character.

Nothing is hotter than seeing my hubby with our tiny baby in his arms.

I would do absolutely anything in the world for her. Crazy things i'm sure.

Congratulations! She's adorable! I liked your last post - it's true people don't tell you about the hard part of breastfeeding! My sister gave birth 6 months before me so I saw her cringing in pain! I also heard to give breastfeeeding a good 6 weeks - you will usually be fine by then and want to keep going. So everytime I cried and my hubby would remind me of this, or would say 'do you want me to get formula' i'd remember 6 weeks 6 weeks 6 weeks!

actually I just did a post (after months missing from blogging!) of teh things that helped me so much in these past 19 months of MAxwell's life. You might find something helpful - I loved reading through advice as I found on the one hand baby life was natural, then on the other I felt like I had no idea what to do - knowledge didn't come naturally I had to ask people and read lots!
but that was me, I didn't have many with bubs around.

ANyways, she's a cutie. Look forward to seeing more posts - when you find time between the nappies and feeding! (and your sleeping!)
